| ELECTION: | Automatically assumes this position at the Post Conference Board meeting after the election. |
| TERM OF OFFICE: | Two years |
| ROLE: | Participates in the administration of the District and serves as an advisor to the Governor and the Board. |
| RESPONSIBILITIES: | |
- Board: To serve as a member of the District Board of Directors
- Governor: To assist and advise the Governor when and as requested.
- Conference: To complete and distribute the Report of Conference Proceedings at conclusion of term of office as Governor. To ensure all Conference accounts are paid and any excess funds are remitted to the District Treasurer. To conduct workshops at Conference as assigned by the Governor.
- Meetings: To attend all meetings – Conference; Pre and Post Conference, Mid-Year Board meetings; Finance Committee meetings; Fall Leadership Event. Prepare a year-to-date report for the Mid-Year Board meeting and a written annual report for inclusion in the Conference packet.
- Files: To deliver all District papers and other pertinent materials immediately to successor at conclusion of Conference. (Activity Reports for previous two years, membership information forms for current members in the District, membership and dues reports for past two years, current financial reports and budget comparisons, etc.)
- Expenses: To submit reimbursement forms promptly for expenses covered in the District Policies.
- Bylaws: To keep informed on all International Bylaws and Policies on all three levels: International Foundation; District Policies, procedures projects and practices.
- Records: To maintain a record of duties performed during the term of office to act as a guide to a successor.
- News of Mighty Ninth: To contribute articles as assigned by the Governor.
- Correspondence: To respond promptly to any communication from local clubs, other District Officers or from Altrusa International.
