Read below for the recent impact Altrusa Downtown Fort Worth is making in the community.
Altrusa provided over 400 books to Seminary Hills Park Elementary School
for the Texas Reads One Book Program. Altrusa DTFW handed each student their copy of Charlotte's Web at the kick off parade. Members were "celebrity readers" during the program that culminated with the students getting to experience a hands on petting zoo!
Journal kits were provided for the after school program at the Panther Branch Boys and Girls Club.
Downtown Fort Worth members sorted and packed 70 sets of socks and underwear for the Boys and Girls Club.
The toy drive for the Masonic Lodge was a success!
